2018 US Bishops Spring Conference - One Only Wishes One Had a Tomato

This years Bishops Spring prom was a First Place Blue Ribbon poop show of all episcopal poop shows.

They planned

1. another publicity stunt at the Mexican border

2. production of political propaganda to keep prolife/pro-God/pro-family/pro-moral theology politicians out of office - 'apply the teachings of Pope Francis to our day'

3. conversations with youth about their favorite Netflix show

Can never get enough of Fr. Wilson's quote from an article titled The Price of my Soul's Salvation: Watching the bishops’ conference in action is like viewing the film of a train wreck over and over again. With bright-colored clowns hanging out the train windows, waving and blowing kisses. One only wishes one had a tomato.

  1. I think you might have forgotten the biggest plop of all (so far). Some of them are talking of "canonical penalties" for those who enforce our immigration laws. Would that they were so resolute about those who shill for baby-murder and sodomy.

  2. Lets not forget their discussion of applying canonical punishments to law enforcement personnel enforcing immigration laws at the border.

  3. Janet, It's sooo frustrating...

  4. Andrew, I'm not sure how they could ever justify it canonically, or theologically. They've spent 50 years building their foundation on lies, so we shouldn't be surprised but I always am.

  5. Pray for the restoration of sanity to our Holy Catholic Church.

  6. Sometimes a visual is worth a thousand words.

Clowns. Hanging out windows. Train wreck. Tomatoes.

Thanks for the Father's Day laugh. I know it's no laughing matter. Still.

  7. The picture is of Bishop Frank Dewane, Diocese of Venice in Florida which happens to be where I live. Wonder why he pictured? Is he dangerous?
